The Science and Business Management classrooms of BMS are equipped with innovatory facilities. Every lecture room/hall is designed to cater to the need of the course. The seating capacity too varies to accommodate large or small numbers depending on the setting including A/C, free Wi-Fi, an installed computer, projector, and speakers, to list some of the amenities
BMS School of Science laboratories are made in accordance to the Northumbria University quality standards. Three state-of-the-art laboratories related to Biochemistry, Haematology, Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Biology and equipped with spectrophotometers, microscopes, safety cabinets, autoclaves, incubators, a haematology analyser, an ELISA reader, a PCR machine and a gel electrophoresis system are some of the amenities present to facilitate undergraduates.
BMS Science students visited the Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology (SLINTEC) located in Horana and attended a one-day seminar. Students were briefed on Nanotechnology in Sri Lanka and the unique opportunities for our students to join the academy for post-graduate education. In addition, the students witnessed the art equipment and modern technology used for research and innovation
Students from the Higher National Diploma and International Foundation Diploma Batches got the opportunity for an industrial tour to the manufacturing plant of Dankotuwa Porcelain. It was a valuable tour for the students as they were able to witness and experience porcelain manufacturing in its essence

The Annual Thai Pongal Festival was celebrated by students on 22 January 2023 at BMS Colombo Graduate School Premises. The event was organised by the Student Council to promote social and cultural diversity, enabling students to enjoy their university experience through progressive and inclusive multicultural events.
Northumbria University and BMS have built a strong partnership over the past 22 years. This partnership has resulted in diverse degree pathways in Business and Management, Biomedical Science, Banking and Finance, Biotechnology, and Design. Northumbria - BMS partnership has produced graduates who have made significant contributions locally and globally.
