Induction Ceremony for the MSc in Cancer and Molecular Diagnostics Programme (2026 Cohort)

On 16 May 2026, the BMS Campus Colombo Graduate School hosted the formal Induction Ceremony for the MSc in Cancer and Molecular Diagnostics programme, celebrating the arrival of its newest cohort of postgraduate students.

The event commenced with an engaging guest speech, which set an inspiring tone for the students’ upcoming academic endeavours. Following this, Dr. Tharanga Dilrukshi, Head of Postgraduate Studies for the Faculty of Life and Medical Sciences, led the comprehensive academic induction session. This briefing provided students with crucial insights into the MSc programme structure, curriculum content, assessment methodologies, and academic expectations, ensuring a clear and structured pathway towards their degree.

To further prepare the students for the rigorous academic demands ahead, Dr. Mathi Kandiah, Dean of the Faculty of Life and Medical Sciences, conducted a dedicated segment focusing on research projects.
