- BMS Colombo Graduate School
On the 7 and 8 February 2026, the BMS Colombo Graduate School (CGS) opened its doors for the annual BMS Open Day. The event served as a comprehensive guide for school leavers and ambitious young professionals looking to navigate their future academic and career trajectories. Participants had the exclusive opportunity to engage directly with senior faculty members, programme coordinators, and dedicated student counsellors. These interactions allowed attendees to gain deep insights into the diverse programmes offered by the Faculty of Life and Medical Sciences and the Faculty of Business and Technology.
To provide a true taste of “BMS Student Life,” the event featured guided campus tours and informative seminars. A major highlight was the visit to our state-of-the-art science laboratories. Here, students moved beyond theory, gaining hands-on experience with modern equipment and participating in engaging practical activities led by subject experts.
Recognising the growing interest in international education, many students sought advice from our specialised Study Abroad team. These sessions provided vital information on:
- Degree transfer pathways to prestigious overseas universities.
- Post-study work opportunities in global markets.
- Clear guidance on permanent residency (PR) pathways for those looking to build careers abroad.
The energy and enthusiasm of the participants made the BMS Open Day 2026 a resounding success. BMS Campus extends its sincere gratitude to all the visitors, organisers, and faculty members who contributed to this inspiring event.
