data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Hope in Every Page: BMS English Literary Club Spreads Smiles and Awareness<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6552819 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6552819\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The English Literary Club (ELC) of BMS Campus marked Cancer Awareness Month with its heartfelt initiative, <em>\u201cHope in Every Page.\u201d<\/em> The event, held on 18th October 2025, aimed to raise awareness about different types of cancer while bringing happiness and hope to patients at the Apeksha Cancer Hospital, Maharagama.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b7ecc40 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b7ecc40\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>As part of the awareness campaign, the ELC highlighted the cancers recognized in,<\/p><ul><li>September: Childhood Cancer, Hodgkin\u2019s Lymphoma, Leukemia, Lymphoma, Ovarian, Prostate, Thyroid, and Uterine Cancer<br \/><br \/><\/li><li>October: which includes Breast, Liver, and Metastatic Breast Cancer.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-27d4000 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"27d4000\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>During the hospital visit, ELC volunteers, lecturers, and students engaged 100 children in storytelling, singing, dancing, art and craft sessions, and fun games that brought smiles and laughter to their faces. The team also donated essential items to both the Children\u2019s and Adults\u2019 wards, offering comfort and support to patients and their families.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e6a99e5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e6a99e5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The project provided a meaningful volunteer experience for ELC members, allowing them to connect compassion with action. It also helped raise awareness and support for children battling cancer, showing that even small efforts can make a big difference.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bb08db2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bb08db2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The English Literary Club and BMS Campus extend heartfelt thanks to all students, parents, lecturers, and supporters who helped make <i>\u201cHope in Every Page\u201d<\/i> a success.
