Annual English Day, &#8220;Spotlight \u201926,&#8221; on Thursday, 21 May 2026, at the Kings Room, CGS. Designed to celebrate creative expression, peer engagement, and the English language, the event brought together a dynamic audience of students, faculty, and distinguished guests. The primary objective was to provide students with a supportive, high-energy platform to build public speaking confidence and showcase their diverse talents outside the traditional classroom environment. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b7ecc40 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b7ecc40\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"margin-top: 0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">The evening featured an impressive, multidisciplinary programme entirely driven by student participation and dedication. The diverse line-up of performances included eloquent speeches, high-energy musical acts, choreographed dances, and dramatic skits. Adding a unique modern flair to the evening, the students also presented a captivating self-produced short film and engaged in a lively, entertaining roast battle, with each segment reflecting immense preparation and enthusiasm. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9b858df elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9b858df\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"margin-top: 0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Ultimately, Spotlight \u201926 achieved resounding success by reinforcing the vibrant community spirit and student potential at BMS. Beyond serving as a showcase for individual talents, the event cultivated a profound sense of unity and shared pride among participants and attendees alike.
