together students, staff, and faculty members on Tuesday, 26 May 2026, at BMS Colombo Graduate School to mark this sacred occasion in a deeply meaningful way. Designed to strengthen the bonds of friendship and togetherness within the institution, the event provided a serene space for the entire BMS community to pause and reflect on the core philosophies of Buddhism. The celebration successfully fostered a warm, peaceful atmosphere that resonated with shared cultural and spiritual appreciation. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b7ecc40 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b7ecc40\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"margin-top: 0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">The multifaceted programme beautifully balanced spiritual devotion with community engagement and student creativity. The day commenced with a spiritually enriching Dhamma sermon, followed by a harmonious <i>Bhakthigeetha<\/i> performance by the staff. Highlighting the creative talents of the campus, a Lantern Competition showcased intricate, handcrafted designs, while the spirit of selflessness was brought to life through a highly successful <i>Kadala Dansala<\/i> organised for the community. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9b858df elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9b858df\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"margin-top: 0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Ultimately, the celebration achieved its goal of encouraging the BMS family to actively embrace and practise the true values of Vesak throughcompassion, generosity, and unity. By blending religious observance with collaborative student activities, the event not only deepened the collective appreciation of the festival&#8217;s significance but also left everyone involved
