Colombo Graduate School, marking the official transition of leadership within the student body. This annual event serves as a platform to recognise the dedicated efforts of the outgoing committee and to welcome the new team of student leaders for the upcoming academic year.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6552819 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6552819\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The ceremony commenced with a warm <strong>welcome address by Mushaf Maffaz<\/strong>, the outgoing President of the BMS Student Society, who reflected on the successful initiatives and projects carried out during the 2024\/25 academic year. In his address, he expressed his gratitude to the members and faculty for their continuous support in enriching student life at BMS.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b7ecc40 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b7ecc40\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Following the speech, <strong>certificates of appreciation were awarded<\/strong> to the outgoing members in recognition of their commitment, teamwork, and contribution to student engagement activities. The event also celebrated the society\u2019s accomplishments over the past year, including student-led events, sports tournaments, and CSR initiatives that promoted leadership, collaboration, and community involvement.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-27d4000 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"27d4000\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The highlight of the ceremony was the <strong>formal induction of the new Student Society members for 2025\/26<\/strong>, who pledged to uphold the values and continue the legacy of excellence and inclusivity that define the BMS student community.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b96f57d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b96f57d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>he event was graced by members of the <strong>senior management team<\/strong>, including <strong>Dr Nizam Razzaq (Director, BMS Campus), Mr Suraj Egodagama (Chief Recruitment Officer), and Mr Ahamed Irfan (Head of Brand Development and Graduate Support)<\/strong>, who commended the society for its contribution to fostering a vibrant campus culture and encouraged the new members to build on the achievements of their predecessors.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4036024 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4036024\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The ceremony concluded with a networking session that provided an opportunity for outgoing and incoming members to exchange ideas and share insights on future plans.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0e4817a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0e4817a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Through this annual tradition, <strong>BMS reaffirms its commitment to empowering students with leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills<\/strong>, while nurturing a diverse and dynamic learning environment.
